Who we are

This website is run by Mya Irvine, trading as Irvine Hair Studio, Unit 3, Last Drop Village, Hospital Road, Bromley Cross, Bolton BL7 9PZ. Mya is the data controller for any personal information you send through this website. You can contact her at irvinehairstudio@outlook.com.

What we collect

The bridal enquiry form asks for your name, your email address, your message, your wedding date, venue or town and the number of people who need hair. Please do not include anything you would not want to share by email.

Why we use it

Only to reply to your enquiry, check availability and, if you ask for one, send a quote. This is in our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, and where you are asking about a booking, it is a step towards an agreement with you. We do not use your details for marketing and we never sell or share them.

Who handles it

Form submissions are processed by Netlify, the company that hosts this website, and sent to the studio's Outlook email account. Netlify may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards. Like most hosts, it also keeps short-term server logs, including IP addresses, to run and secure the site.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for up to 12 months after our last contact and then deleted. If you go on to book, the details needed for your booking are kept for as long as they are needed for the booking and for our business records.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking. Online booking happens on Fresha, and the links to Instagram, Facebook and Google Maps take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email irvinehairstudio@outlook.com. If you are unhappy with how your information has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
